  1. Thanks for the advice.
  2. Rock hard, so the (-) pushes the fork up from the bottom and the (+) pushes from the top? And when does one know that the fork will be too soft and bottom on a trail? I am a very light rider, as in I put my weight or the rear.
  3. No I don't! Ok thanks I will give that a try.
  4. About R6000 I rate.
  5. Our Russel Hobs was like R500 and it works just fine. Only thing missing is a stick to stir with. Tip: cut and freeze all your fruit going bad, and by freezing blocks of mango for eg calls for less ice thus a less watery smoothie.
  6. You strike me as a very selfish person. Yes you and the cyclists with the same mentality as you affect us all. Rules are there for a reason. Have you ever stopped and thought what if every person does as he pleases? Wether in a car or on a bike you must obey the rules of the road. We are the first to cry when cyclists get hit and demand our own lane or nag about our rules being ignored. Here's a news flash - You Are Not Above The Law!!!!
  7. I would like to know how much pressure you guys run your forks and/or shocks given your weight and amount of travel. I always seem to find the pressures given on forks very hard, I like a very plush ride in the front and could use some good advice on how to set up a rockshox sid/monarch rt3 properly, any tips for a more plush fork with good small bump damping? Setup: Fork: +95psi, -100psi Shock: 200psi Weight: 160lbs/75kg Travel 100mm front and rear
  8. In the "complete bikes" section.
  9. Hahahaha Lil Wayne looks like Lil Wayne.
  10. Reminds me of going to res, always the 2nd and 3rd years giving the 1st years *** thinking they are the bees knees since they have been there longer than you, in afrikaans theres a great saying - pispot het nou ore gekry. Anyways, there are the audi, bmw and range rover drivers umong us cycling folk so don't mind them.

  12. I am sorry but I don't give a crap if these street racers get into fatal accidents, as long as innocent people are not hurt.
  13. Just read a few pages again after reading up on some links, very good info, thanks guys.
  14. Also seem to see a strange pattern appearing...
  15. That little plastic thing inside a rockshox to extend/reduce the travel is also like R250. Glad I have a spare.
  16. Where can we get some? Was at canal walk the other day and this poepol parks his black mitsubishi double cab over 2 parking spaces, and at the lifts, not even far away. So gatvol of these people. Would love to slap a sticker on his windshield. At Stellenbosch you get greased if you park on spots that don't belong to you. Works wonders.
  17. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/ - you have a choice between the maxxis crossmark or monorail. Both good, and both will last you very long. Make your pick Too many tire threads.

  20. +1 I would go for that full XX volcan 26" DS. Very good deal for R17000 and that is prop neg.
  21. Thanks, is there maybe a website one can check which races falls under which bodies?
  22. So which races are done by PPA and which CSA? Or do you need a csa license for ALL races? I specifically have Western Cape races in mind.
  23. and their not wearing helmets
  24. I think we as motorists forgot the fact that it is illegal to drive in the yellow lane, it is an emergency lane, and not there for people to just stop and turn on their hazards or move into so that someone can pass you.
  25. I also sometimes ride on the wrong side of the road when I see fit. Paarl's mainroad as well as the road to jonkershoek is pretty safe for cyclists but one I get on the back roads with trucks and 120km/h speed limit I want to see when someone is not paying attention, tank yuu!
