i dont think moving to Woodmead is the solution. i did the Soweto Marathon at the same venue on 5 Nov and there were no security issues whatsoever. the organiser must fire the current security company. they are clearly not doing their job

the illegal car guards came in numbers this year. the cops probably had their hands full. i just told them to get lost when they approached me after the ride.

i dont think it is the start of the end. it is probably a market correction, which is long overdue. i bought my MTB, road and gravel bikes about 8 years ago and will not buy a bike or bikes second hand or new  anytime soon. current prices are on steroids 🙄

No issue at all. I used to cycle from Woodmead to Centurion (about 30km on way) with a laptop before Covid.

I work at a tyre fitment centre in Polokwane, yesterday at 9 in the morning. Customer in a new Amarok V6, pulls onto lift to have tyre repaired.

Before getting out the car finishes a bottle of beer. This at 9 in the morning!

This is suppose to be educated people! Makes a person wonder!
