I received them a couple of years back during a similar trail in the institute It would have been nice to see a photo/video indicating the needle/equipment used beforehand.

I got mine at builders warehouse in Tygervalley, but that was 7-8 years ago. Still have a bag of all the different sizes that I bought to make sure I have the right size for our different bikes. Let me know if you need something urgently and cant find them. ps - tape your frame with isolation tape first below that rubbers.

that's indeed the place and those signs were there when I turned around and backtracked. Not the organisers fault, but the first 1 or two riders that got it wrong. Just a note: When I past there the first time, the sun was perfectly from the front, it was downhill and with the amount of dust I could only see the rider profiles in front of me and was actually worried about unseen potholes. No complaints, maybe bigger/more/more than 30m away arrows might help on downhill dusty turns. (No complaints from me. the route killed me anyway)

Mark, the fact that you opened your shop to help my wife with a chain while on a ride yourself, means a lot to me. I already use your shop for services from outside your catchment area because of quality etc, but this will be remembered. Thanks. You are a good man!

Social tandems was TT, starting almost 2hours after L. That seeding is fine because it contained me. Think you are talking about slow racing tandems?

The kids was the thing what struck me as well: How calm they are in a situation like that, ready to move in behind the leaders when things open up - as if they are used to it. Even joined with the pepper spraying. My line of thought was that what must they had seen before to make them so casual about it here. I pray that they find some mentors that can demonstrate social acceptable behaviour, otherwise we are doomed. So only two are willing to put their hands up and fall on the sword, pffft how brave are all of them now that they are outnumbered.

A couple of years ago after I was attacked, I was asked to donate money to the BMX project which I did. Sadly the problem still hang around. One would think someone from the community see the opportunity to put up a 'beach lifesaver' tower there and ensure security during peak cycling hours. (Advertising space on such a tower must be worth something and it should not be difficult to find monthly donations to cover a salary or two.)
