  2. I got this via an email: Ireland's weather is unpredictable, but the Southwest coast is very, very scenic. http://www.audaxireland.org/2013/11/mile-failte-1200/
  3. Hi Is there maybe a more recent program available? That might build towards 2015. I had seen a post in the last month or so that ask for interesting parties, but cant seem to find it with the search now. thanks!
  4. The back view: (almost all 60 year olds would have the same comment) http://www.addict.co.uk/images/products/verylarge/TAPER_JEAN_ADM17J05_368_2.jpg
  5. I always thought Arabella is next to Ashton?
  6. Hi Oom Yes, you would be able to query it with a date range as well as spatial boundary filters. You could probably make it a requirement that a site engineer submit a video every morning and afternoon on departure to proof the condition received/when done. The storage is not so much of a problem (unless it is hours and hours of HD - we currently limit the length of a single video to be uploaded to 15 minutes), but for corporate users in SA one would probably talk about a local cloud/in-house server to make uploading/viewing etc. faster. Any questions/issues let me know.
  7. We partner with this company in Ireland for capturing extra attributes in photos: http://www.geospatialexperts.com/GeoJot/ (again, I would be keen to get involved with a SA trail)
  8. Hi Oom My employer in Ireland has a product UbiPix: http://www.compass.ie/products/ubipix-location-tagged-video/ Basically you can install the app on Android/IPhone and record "spatial aware" video. Ideal for site/road/pipeline inspections. What is cool is that you can tag issues/problems/locations in the video and at the same time record sound where you describe it in more detail. For example it is currently used for risk evaluation of roads in Ireland. Its early days and can be improved a lot, bit its free to download (Google play/app store) and use as a personal user. If you think it is worthwhile we can talk a corporate usage trail. (I would be keen to get feedback) Read more here: http://www.ubipix.com/ An example of tagging in one of my videos: http://app.ubipix.com/playvideo.php?id=i0MdOg1oOab

  11. I cant help to wonder how the aggression levels on the roads would be in 20 years if I condition my offspring into this line of thinking. (I don't say you do, actual personalities differ from theHub personalities) But if your idea 'support' is painting your face, buy the flag and jersey, then your post don't matter - that 'think bike' sticker is not for a rugby club, but rather a way of driving * I'm that **** scared & slow lane splitter / traffic filtering biker that is overtaken by the speeding filtering poegies
  12. "Now Cookson calls for a simple vote between him and PMQ. So no vote about whether nomination is valid" I like him - its me and you stuff, see you in the park behind school when the bell ring
  13. "nine voting delegates voted for a secret vote (seven or more needed) on retrospective amendments" https://twitter.com/SSbike %$£%£$ - a meta-vote
  14. Would love to be a fly against the wall in Florence. Surely CSA must tell its members afterwards who they voted for? Interesting discussion here over the last couple of weeks: The title is a winner though
  15. After rebuilding an crashed tubeless wheel this weekend I would charge an insane amount for cleaning the sheeaaat as well

Try these for Ireland (there are a lot more options) 2 day road bike: Friday after work 2h train trip from Dublin to Sligo, Saturday following Sustrans routes via Enniskillen, Omagh (sleepover), Gortin, Coockstown, Portadown to Belfast. Sunday evening train back to Dublin. 3 day MTB: West from Dublin to Mulingar (sleepover) along the Royal Canal towpath. Hop South via Horseleap & Clara over to Ferbane where you get the Grand Canal. Back East along the footpath to Tullamore (sleepover). Back to Dublin along the Grand Canal. 2 day road bike: Around Dingle peninsula 3 day road bike: Around Beara peninsula. use a single base. None of these are busy roads.
