  1. So if the majority do not vote and the minority vote in k@k ppl, then it is still fine that you did not vote? So we can all sit on our asses and bitch and moan and THAT WILL FIX THINGS BECAUSE YOU DID NOT VOTE. Catch a wakeup. Or don't. But please do not advocate apathy!!
  2. only difference is 11 - 23 has closer ratio than 11 - 25 Most people will never fully use the 11 anyway. I would say only about 10% of riders can fully utilize the 53/11 ratio. Go with 12 - 25 if you need an easier ration and you are running 53 - 39 up front.
  3. I don't have the Thule, but the cheaper alternative. Things to note on both: 1. On a bumpy road and going slowly, it does seem as as if the are seriously rocking and rolling. The faster you go the smoother they ride. 2. The arm does not lock into place on all but one of the Thule's that I have seen. The rest are just there to support the bike in a vertical position. the left to right is support is via the wheel ties. 3. The Thule sometimes swivels left to right if the goos-neck clamp is not set up properly. but on the whole these racks are way good.
  4. Is that fair? If the LBS was not there what then?
  5. Go to Sportsmans wearhouse and jusr buy the QR brackes, they come with holes etc. Jusr mount on your ally plate and be done with it. Damn why complicate issues.
  6. Will change if you do the Epic S2S J2S etc. but normal funrides no.
  7. Depends on the tire, some 2.2 are like 2.4's and visa versa.
  8. Isn't this what the Rugby Players got bust for?
  9. Ja but B is not what it was it is now prolly the equivalent of the old "F" so dont go getting a Big head now. I will be cheering you on up Suikerbossie. Too Bloody unfit to ride this thing. And for you I will be in AFRISAP/Strandlooper Kit.
  10. Indicating obstical and drop-off clearance. Ever tried to ride over big rocks and logs? Chainring gets bashed quire a bit.
  11. Rudy Projects are awesome and good value.
  12. Don't think this is possible if you got good equipment, worst case is the cable tries to stretch.
  13. What is the issue? It is a bloody bike and it gets ridden. Esp MTB. It bets bashed scratched dinged etc. So what the more you pay the lighter it gets that is all. 10K, 20k, 30k +++ who cares. Just ride it.
  14. Yes
  15. 26" or 29r
  16. They all work fine, until you go proper off-road, then it is still good as long as you ride the right limes. If not you will rip a sidewall. there are no other issues, just how you ride. I will only use non UST on the front as I can see where it is going but not on the back. Risk is too high. Then I am 97kg+..........
  17. Because of the weight!!! Shees you are talking a lot of extra g here.
  18. Ok I think I think I see how they keep the bikes so spick and span. I started training again this year and used the Attekwas as a start so we started at the back and just idled along. Was shocked to see ppl walking on perfectly ridable sections, both going Up and Down. the worst of all was to see ppl on serious DS 29ers tippy toeing or walking and the most fun bits. Guys you have a MTB go for it it is meant to be ridden.
  19. Can you go up hill? (Hill CREST (Cottermans KLOOF) It Goes Up and Down the UP and down the UUUP and down then UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP and down. Distance 1hr to 4hrs+ you choose. 22. still taking orders from the believers, also it is cooler than the thing from glomail/verimark and dooes the same thing.
  23. Don't know too much, but done a few Epics and got SS on the first one and during training for it. Use cream on rides to prevent and use decent pant to prevent. Otherwise lance them and disinfect, but you can still ride, they go numb after the 1st hr.
