  1. Unfortunately not guys. In current day Italy, if you do that sign to someone, it means that his wife is being unfaithful to him. This is hardly a compliment. So , if you do this to an italian, make sure he is your friend, and understands your gesture ???? Of course the gesture we see also has a "cool" significance, like how we use it in SA, and probably the music industry.
  2. Bernal will lose a lot of Italian fans with this gesture. If youre Italian, you will understand ????????
  3. Bump to top. Please if anyone has seen anything? (or knows about what happened here )
  4. Posting on behalf of a friend. Today Sunday 12th July. If anybody saw the accident on Hendrik Potgieter Rd, cycling East to West, between Farm City and Spur, please send your photos\Dash Cams to my e-mail address:theunis.bosch@standardbank.co.za Thank you.
  5. Hello. Anybody know how to get your name on your race number? Thanks
  6. ..... and this is my thought exactly. Sadly I am not going to enter this year. If they are able to control the rioting crowd ? (something that I doubt, because now that they have seen that it worked, they will just do it again) I will probably be back in 2019. The investment coming from Gauteng is not worth the risk. The organisers are keeping the cost the same in 2018 because of what happened, but this does not even begin to come close to the real issue.
  7. Suikerbosrand is alive and healthy. Yesterday (human rights day) there were plus/minus 50 cars queuing waiting to get into the main gate at 7am :-)
  8. "first and last mile master plan and bicycle sharing scheme." You gotta be kidding - no one is sharing my bike ! Would be easier to share my missus
  9. Hey Drago... Your seat is real for the first 30km, then your bum goes numb, and not even a drawing pin will feel like a difference

  13. Hello. Although I cannot find a distinction between used and new, avoid bringing in a fully built up bicycle. Separate it into a few pieces, and bring in as parts. It also depends where you are importing from. e.g. Fully built from China - 15% Fully built from Europe, with Euro import certificate - 0%

  22. I have applied, and everything went smoothly. It was so quick and easy, that I was unsure whether it was processed or not. Did get the confirmation email, so all good. I got the feeling that they are doing you a favour, allowing you to enter. Did anyone else have the same feeling?
  23. Hi All. I decided to explore this whole imported Chinese carbon frame possibility. I have a copy of a famous Italian bicycle, which I had custom sprayed a certain colour. Custom stickers were made up to resemble a 50's era Italian classic. Reason for this, its a dedication to my dad, who couldn't afford this type of bike when he needed it. I have personalised signatures and serial number. Once applied, I had a high gloss clear coat over the top. Busy testing now, whether it lives up to my expectation. Will let you know, after I have completed a few tough high profile races. Hello
