Have a look on www.sigeyi.co.za.
The are supported locally with 2 year warranty, they are used by two professional MTB teams (PYGA Euro Steel & Insect Science)
They are reliable, lightweight and also gives you duel-sided power measurement.

just fit mountainbike wheels to a road frame ?
Jip Surly Cross Check cyclocross frameset, fatties fit fine they say...
Ultegra tubeless road wheelset
Spez fastrack 2.0 front (fits perfectly)
Kenda Kozmik 2.0 rear (Looking for a 1.8 as that would work better)
38t NW raceface ring
11-36 cassette
Ultegra 10spd sti's
Saint 9spd Short cage rear der.
Salsa bars
Avid shorty canti brakes
You got offered beer?!? Hmmm... I think we should meet up sometime. Not so much for the blackmail for free servicing arrangement... but... Blackmailing for free beer which in turn will lead to more pictures and then some more blackmailing and beer and so on and so on....
Jip and you owe Andre beer for that Lezyne bracket
Pre-blackmail?! No need for that, just drop in and the fridge will help you.
Epic evening that, if I recall correctly we where father and son at some stage..
Ruan is one of the nicest people I have met in the bike industry!
haha.. was good catching up in Maritzburg. Crazy times!!!
You get two different types of "BB30" frames,
1. Pressfit BB30
(This type of frame uses a plastic cup with 2 BB30 bearings inside and this whole thing presses into the frame) pic below.
For this type of frame you can get a Sram BSA adapter to run a normal threaded Sram gxp BB or a shimano hollowtech BB as shown below,
You also get a Raceface Pressfit 30 to X-type adapter to run raceface or shimano hollowtech cranks
http://www.raceface.com/components/bottom-brackets/bottom-brackets/pfbb30-x-type-adapter/
2. BB30 only (No pressfit before the name)
(This is where the bearings fit straight into the frame) as show below,
For this type of frame you get a different type of adapter called a BB30 to X-type adapter to run raceface or shimano hollowtech cranks

Can't wait for the weekend to arrive!
Yeah, hope those Formulas work leke, you gonna need it this weekend!!!
maybe I should make that Flatline a "demo" bike
Cannot wait for this event!!!
I'm gonna party like a rock star, hit a bunch of single tracks
Wake up late in a tented room
Throw my bike down the mountain, smoke a bunch of lycra pants
Anything to get my mind on dirt.
Find a telephone pole to wrap around my bike,
And party like a rock star.
Yeah Tool-Up cycles is a leke place
Thanks again tubed! l love this thread...
My money is on Christo "the dark horse" van den Heever...
Found a cool file containing all the info and race times etc, cool to see the Rate of Travel % of each rider...
Awesome thread!!!
@TUBED Do you perhaps have a link to the place where I can trace some riders? Was on it once but struggling to find it again on the site..

Ya its *** but one of those things I suppose... Not a nice way to end a super holiday though!
Parts came of a Silverback Vida 1 and I put the wheels on at a later stage.
My Rocky Mountain Soul 29er was stolen last night in Somerset West. Cottage Garden, Somerset Street.
Full XT group, fox fork and syncros wheels.
One of a kind as I custom built it with those parts, I cannot post a pic from my phone but can I perhaps email it to someone and they can add it?
My email is ruan.lochner@gmail.com
