  1. Agree...plan to use free shipping next time and take my chances. I'm waiting 20+ days for "express" delivery, so 2 or 3 weeks more without paying shipping and using their voucher might work for me!
  2. Unfortunately CRC split the orders, not Skynet... Push CRC regarding the admin fee from Skynet. Send them the invoice to show them you are paying double the fee for one order. Sure they will compensate with voucher.
  3. Exactly what has happened to my order!
  4. First parcel from CRC took 15 days! Second parcel, shipped more or less the same time (split order), I guess will arrive end of this week or next week - so 17 - 20 days? For express airfreight! That used to take 3 - 4 days with DHL at half the admin fee! Something does not make sense...
  5. Have to say, all my correspondence from Dalene has been short, to the point and successful.
  6. I've sent CRC the link twice! Even asked then to forward "our" concerns to their management. They replied: "Thanks for the quick reply and for providing me with a copy of the invoice paid to receive the parcel. As you are already aware we have no impact on the delivery charges levied by couriers as handling fees, but I do take on board your comments and the additional comments made by several other customers who have had a similar experience. I have passed all of this information on to our shipping team for their information." And offered 20GBP voucher...
  7. Yip, sent CRC a stinker of an email as well. Even gave them a link to this forum... Got a "sorry for you..." response.
  8. The disadvantage I can see here is that you will need to pay the countries Tax/VAT for local delivery + the import duties + local (South Africa) VAT...Not sure this makes sense.
  9. I think it's time to change and move away from CRC...
  10. I still have a few deep grudges against the fast and high watt racing snakes, as you can see It was great training for sure! Sadly no online racing any more...in fact no riding at all. Recovering from collarbone dislocation surgery...Now have a plate that looks like an alien in my shoulder.... Back on the trainer soon.
  11. Do they wear shoes in Bloem??? Seriously though, I heard it was 100% duty on shoes and clothes. You may have got lucky!
  12. Placed order on 24th April, with express delivery...still waiting... I'll definitely complain to CRC about the below average delivery times...Think if we all complain, they may do something about it. DHL was so efficient!
  13. Sadly I'll miss this one - just had an op on a disloacted collarbone Such a pity, super tough race!
  14. I had the same thought...
  15. BTW, that CRC Citric Cleaner that comes with that cyclone chain bath is AMAZING! Never had anything clean my chain that well. Need to find another CRC bottle replacement now!
  16. Park Tools rock!!! Even if you don't know what it is used for
  17. I do like the Absolute Black Oval chainrings. Seems to help with getting over that technical climb or obstacle...
  18. Yip, between 8 and 10 deg C during the day in Vitoria. I managed to get in a 4hr walk around the city on Monday before the work started...I got caught in some rain, damn the rain is cold! Like small ice pods falling from the sky! (not hail and not snow yet). Our S.A rain is typically warm in JHB, so that was a little unexpected.
  19. That confirms the weather waiting for me on Monday in the Basque country
  20. I'm in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain on the 5th March for business. Being seeing lots of pictures of snow in the Northern Spain region. Europe is being battered with the cold this year! Going to be fun...bringing my big jacket
  21. We didn't get to see the extreme dropoff Hope the arms recover quick...
  22. I strap an potato on my wrist at night when I go to sleep and make sure I take a shower in the morning....Sure I heard that cures everything???
  23. I have had this shock for almost 2 years now. Just had a service from STOKE in CT. Very happy with the shock. That carbon detail is awesome!
  24. Lydenberg - the Escarpment.
  25. Epic pics as usual! I need to be there!
