jip. we make a pot every two weeks or so but the wife hogs most of it for her lunches at work. the woolies option a nice fallback when we don't have any left in the freezer.

having to deal with sinusitis, bronchitis and an ear infection: woolies vegetable soup with barley (those in the plastic bags), two slices of low GI bread and lemon flavoured green tea those soups are really good value for money and super tasty

aaaah... the good old library book in the bag prank. we walked around looking for the thinnest book we could find and slipped it in another book or hid it inside a writing pad folder. was especially a lot of fun when someone "maximised" studying time and had to run to a lecture hall in time for the exam to start. until it happened to me. RAU had these turnstyle jobbies going in and out of the library. when you were in a hurry and that thing locked, you went head first somersault over there. pity we didn't have camera phones back then

yes, but it's not just about trees, but also the related pollution and consumption related to making paper products. drive past any paper mill (Ngodwana is a good example) and you will smell and see what I am talking about.
