I experienced a similar problem and its also a sram jockey wheel...never experienced rhis with Shimano but maybe im lucky. Im thinking of replacing these with some ceramic bearing jockey wheels, maybe that will last longer.

    Did u clean or replace?
  5. Same with Nobby Nic.
  6. At some point I need to invest in these bifocals. Been avoiding it simply because my eyes adjusted (strong one eye compensating for the wekaer one). One thing for sure is I cannot cycle without photochronic lenses and Rudy"s suit me perfectly for that reason and the other reason is that I have a small nose bridge which needs an adjustable nose pad. They are spot on with their design and hense the reason I dont ride with Oakley's or any other brand. I am yet to find a similar brand that has this adjustable nose pads. Im just curious do these inserts add weight to the glasses or onnthe nose bridge?
  7. I find a rear tire with spaced out blocks are not good on loose stone or gravel...no grip...slip and slide on one place.
  8. So whats the best way forward to determine proper sizing for a specific make/model of bike? There is no way a bike shop will let you ride try out their bikes on a trail for good feel. I struggle with this because bike manufacturers standards are all different.
  9. Bliksems! This was in all likelihood an inside job. Foreign nationals are employed based on trust but there those of them who are pure skelms. This reminds me of a foreign national and his buddy that were caught hiding stolen items ranging from TV's to bicycles on the premises of a praying facility and one of them was the caretaker of the facility nogal.

    99er Cycle Tour

Do you guys think the CTCT will fill the 15000 field as planned at R600 a pop?
  11. Usually the LBS will assist and guide you because they will be fitting it for you by the looks of what you said..."non the wiser"
  12. Therefore budget is important if you want to go down this road. All advice may be relevant but if the budget doesnt allow for it then stay where you are until you are able to afford what you want for your needs. If you do have an open budget then the world is your oyster.

  14. I was supposed to have gone and stayed over....missed out on these trails...hopefully this can be a once a month event for 2020.
  15. Pity you don't have a sound/video clip of this ticking sound on a stationary bike stand because this is currently a guessing game.
  16. If I may ask, who sells Meanwell inverters and what is the after sales service like?
  17. Do that...it will save u plenty of grief. Sportsmanwarehouse will assist you in this regard.
  18. Did you check in the unit in at Garmin Rosebank? They will "assess" and then offer u an upgrade but insist they inspect your unit first before offering upgrades.
  19. Register on strava, downlaod wattbike app onto phone or tablet that you will use at gym Use your HR belt, link it to the wattbike, enter your data such as weight, age etc onto the watt bike, profile gets created..log into the profile, select the program you need to train with, select wattbike number to link with and off you go... Repeat the setup of personal data on each wattbike because you may not get the same wattbike everytime you attend gym. Connect with coach as a follower on strava and bobs your uncle he is now effectively monitoring your training program and can adjust where necessary.

    Chainrings

My initial Typo...11-51 should exist...must check.

    Chainrings

Save for what will really make a difference and make you happy over the long term...my guess is the cheaper option will bring short term relief and no real gain for those long rides.

    Chainrings

Sunrace has 11 speed 11-51 cassette I think. That will really help those legs of yours.

    Chainrings

Have you considered moving up the cassette to 11-50 and keep 32 chainring?
  25. Or maybe the buycycle website gives the secret away[emoji6]
