anybody go past Dario's and try the muffins yet??What are your thoughts??

anyone know where i can get some unsweetened protein powders? all of the manufacturers i know of put artificial sweeteners in their protein powders. I'm looking for bulk protein powders or meal replacements without sweeteners in it.

just watch which website you getting your bikes from. there are a lot of "agents" from the far east (China, Philippines, Malaysia) etc who are actually on buying sites and dont actually supply any products.. They put in ads and your money disappears. Even sites with Trustpass and verified mean nothing. If u want you can Pm me some site info and i can check it out and give you my opinion. as far as i'm concerned i dont believe any of the sites in China sell branded bikes.

For all you health nuts out there allergic to wheat or just wanting to eat healthier,Dario's coffee shop in Hout Bay has started selling wheat free /sucrose free muffins, using free range eggs and low fat milk in the mix. There coffee is also awesome and if you're doing a ride through Hout Bay, Darios is the place to stop and refuel. You can also buy the mixture preordered in bulk and make them yourself at home if you want adding the simplist ingredients. If you're allergic to wheat or just looking for a healthy alternative then stop by. Some of the flavours available are : Pear and ginger, banana, and granadilla, but blueberry, and apple and date have been available on request. And the best part is: they don't taste like wheat free products which usually has a bland taste.

there are lots of areas in Hout Bay that are "ridable" and i do ride on but they are not officially bicycle tracks nor are there any signs saying that you can not Some of these are in Sanparks areas. It would be nice to actually get an official track going here.

hey Guys, recently did the schapenburg MTB red route at Ongegund conference centre in Somerset west. At some stage the red route splits into 2 sections...1) Duck and dive and 2) twist and turn. I've done twist and turn 2x and it's great. Did a bit of duck and dive but it just seems to go downhill with no singletrack, so went up and did twist and turn again. Does anyone know what duck and dive is like and if there is singletrack?? Did the new Redhill loop and that is awesome..well not according to my wife who's legs were dead by then. BTW love the miles and miles of singletrack..It's become 1 of my favorite routes.

They tried to steal my buds Audi about 2 weeks ago. Ripped his dash apart. I say pretend to go cycling with some friends, wait in the bushes and spring em with baseball bats.

But why do i need to ask for the parts back...what happened to honesty in the world?? I'm in a successfull business even with the recession, and we do tons of stuff for free and dont rip off our clients. I think Karma's a bitch and it'll come back to bite them in the butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huh?? I paid R80 for loosening the BB on my Mountain bike frame.. Took the guy less than 10 secs. talk about ripoff...

yeah, pity i'm such a nice guy!! And i even stood up for this LBS when others were slating them on the hub before. and what's funny is that most of my friends cycle, so that's around 10 potential customers which they've lost.

Hey all, What do bike shops do with the parts they repair and remove from your bike?? i used to use a wel lknown bike shop and they aways gave me the parts back which they took off and replaced . Then a new bike shop opened locally. If you take your bike in, you dont get a repair receipt or anything...they just write a note in their book. Then i took my bike in for the brakes to be bled this year, and they said the seal was gone and they would need to replace it. 3 weeks later, they said they were waiting for new seals and that i would have to wait as the agents did not have seals in stock.I said i would because it had to be done. More weeks later and i phoned to find out if my bike was done. They said it was a long time ago and i could pick it up. So i go merrily to the LBS to find they had replaced my juicy 5's with Elixir 3's and charged me R1800 for the set...and kept my old brakeset parts. Does this seem right to you??? i haven't been back since !!

er..you shouldnt stick it on OPEN wounds...Chinese medicne has Radix Angelicae in it...it's poisenous in the bloodstream. read the indications, it should say only on the surface skin.

there's a company that does these bags. they usually attach a survey to ask what you thought of the bag and what you would like or not like in the bag. fill it in when you see it then there will be less complaints.

anyone had a bicycle stolen recently with an orange frame. SAPS caught some guy today who claims he found the frame in the bushes.. it was taken to the SAPS Hout bay station.

my wife soaks the clothes in water for a day (must be cold or the smell stays in) to allow the salt and dirt to dilute out, then wash in regular wash. seems to work ok.
