My riding buddy didn't pitch this morning so I headed in a different direction than we planned. Did a longer ride on some dirt roads I haven't been on before. A nice quite back road ride with lots of time to clear the head. My gravel grinder would actually have been the perfect bike for this ride. Also thought I'd catch the sunrise but overcast skies put a stop to that dream. Fortunately these skies come with benefits of their own. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk

I haven't been on the bike much lately on account of the weather and a hectic work schedule. Yesterday morning I managed to sneak out the house early-ish and what a day, what a ride! Yesterday I realised that my form is really bad at the moment and I'd better get my ass in gear before if completely goes to sh@t. Also rode the Autumn Splendour today. The weather was perfect and the route was great. In a blurry rush to get out the house this morning I forgot my helmet at home.Fortunately one of the Worcester Lbs's had a stall there and I could purchase a "cheap and cheerful" jobbie and was able to ride.
