  1. Ah yes, i know that section well...always stop to look at it and think to myself i should try it one day..dont think that day will ever come.
  2. Wow, thats stunning.
  3. Giant Trance Advanced
  4. Honestly, that's really nothing major at all. A few cosmetic things but still exactly the same. Will never buy this thing again as the one side broke after a soft fall and the other just went missing.
  5. Had these yesterday. The weis was very fruity, didnt like it too much but the Butcher Block was really lekker. Had a sweetness to it but good bitterness.
  6. Haven't managed to read through all the pages but want some advice on what I am thinking of. We pay for DSTV premium, R800 a month. We watch the following: * Probably about 2 hours a day during the week. Generally Mnet 101..americas got talent...those sort of talent shows . We watch no series at all. Just don't get into them. Some discovery. We got to bed fairly early, around 09:30 (new born in the house). After kids are bathed and sleeping and dinner is done we sit down about 20:00-21:00 watching Tely but really chat in-between, get up to see to the kids if they crying...etc. Our 2 year old likes Cbeebies but watches for a bit and then off to play with her toys. * Weekends - Saturday sport if there is something I fancy like the championship rugby now but that really it. Don't watch soccer and watch some UCI stuff when its on. Sundays we watch cart blanche and the Sunday movie. A few things here and there on the weekends. I am now tossing with the idea of getting Rid of TV altogether and saving the R800 but not sure if I would manage to do that. We tried once for a week but failed and put the TV on but it was really more for the background noise that was missing although we had the radio/music on but felt a bit odd. Who has got rid of TV altogether and what is your experience? just don't know what to do on this one as its a waste of money for what we watch but also a little vice as a go to "cheap" form of entertainment.
  7. Yeah, general riding for sure. Need to spend some time setting that baby up properly. Thanks
  8. The Trance came with a fox float x which is awsome. Set it the normal way, 20% sag. Is that right? Do i need to run more air in it? So many thinfs to set and adjust on the thing...lol

    Who remembers?

Yoh, I played this so much at school. it was the coolest game ever. Also have a stack of cards with a few rare ones that are in some covers specifically for them.
  10. Yup, been battling with this for a few days now and its moved to my chest.
  11. Ouch...you are trying hard enough thats for sure :-).
  12. Yup...snotty, sore throat, headaches, stuffy nose....etc...got it from the wife who in tern gave it to both kids then onto me...bleh
  13. I saw a pair at Due South a while back at Eastgate shopping center I think it was.
  14. Agree. you just moving the water around really and when it rains the garden gets water and the pool start to fill. That is why I think a jojo is prime so you have water when there is no rain for a while saving on using the municipal water. I too have no money at the moment...had a few priorities...new MTB tyres...lol
  15. Urrrmm...never thought of it making the pool dirty. Good point that cos then you spent more money on chemicals and running the pool longer to get it clean again which cancels out the saving.
  16. Got some good things here and will be doing the following...or rather adding to the list of things to do: 1) Geyser timer, blanket and pipe insulation - Aiming for the end of this month 2) Privacy by adding something on top of the brick wall. I saw a house that had palisade fence on top of the wall (security) and then wooden slabs in between the gaps of the fencing for privacy. It looked awesome and would like to do that - need costing and maybe look at this later in the year. 3) Oil Lapa - Linseed oil/Woodoc 30/35 - In the next month or two. Right, with the water restrictions, what do you do for water conservation. immediately a jojo tank comes to mind but rather pricey for me at this point. Re-directing down pipes to other areas of the house and to top up the pool. I saw this pic and thought it would be a cheap workaround:

  18. With such a burly front tyre, I think the RR is a good option and of course the side knobs are massive just like the MM to help with grip in the corners. I think it will work most nicely.
  19. Yet again.....lol...shot
  20. They arrived today....Good grief, didn't realize how Burly the MM is...those knobs are massive...luckily I went with fast rolling tyre on the rear. Somehow I don't think I am going to have any issues with grip and cornering...
  21. Lekker ride with Pikey in the Souf. He needed some medical attention cos he couldn't keep up with my blistering pace...hahahah
  22. Lol..pretty, yes...seriaaas...not so much...just had to have them...dont know why...but i had to
