I was dressed in white on a white bike pushing a hill hard (in pain), when another aunty came from the other direction in the drops flying down hill (in ecstasy). She was dressed in black with black bike. Gave each other a quick smile and nod. It was like our yin/yang moment. Flip I love this sport!!

RIP I am glad that he was not riding alone when this happened, and that others were around to help and call for medical assistance. Lets tell our cycle buddies our allergies and blood groups incase accidents happen.

I had a version(turn baby because it was breech)specialist saw me in his lunch time because I was nearly due...only charged me R260.00 bucks. Special rate, I think he felt sorry for me. The difference between an NUD ( no pain meds nogal and one night in hospital) and ceasar is at least ten grand. So when I sumitted my bill for R260.00 to med aid (which has saved them big bucks) they replied saying they would only pay R60.00. ????? (Nine yrs ago)

No stretchy... been Howick resident for the last week! Those Wartburg roads were rough (literally were resurfaced with huge stones) and playing chicken with the cane trucks ...so didn't bother with a road bike then, but now... game on Been out with mtb on Karkloof -howick rd and i am amazed at how curtious local drivers are....they really slow down as they pass and pass wide giving you lots of space.
