    I'd rather have my buddy have the KOM than the other paw paw. This could actually be a great idea for cycling buddys on their birthdays.......Everyone helps them get a KOM on the road.

    I think you should arrange and outing with at least ten strong fast freinds and you all sprint the segment together. So not only will this sausage loose his KOM...he will be off the top ten and not even have a trophy. Then you buy all your mates some lekker coffee and cake P.s It would be even better if one of the riders was a girl

    I still think those other KOMS count. The same thing has happened to me where people have created new segments. .........but fair is fair...if you were faster the crown is yours.

    I've never shopped in the east. If my past experiences at fleamarkets are anything to go by, it better I stay here My last negotiating effort was a disaster......Last week I wanted to buy a bra the only one in the size and colour I wanted. Problem was it was a "twin pack" and the bras partner was missing. I asked the manager if I could pay half price because obviously the other bra had gone AWOL. The manager just said "NO" and then just walked away Negotiating just doesn't work for me

    I've run my own business where Ive made only a small margin of profit on my stuff. Ive had people ruthlessly demand a discount where I've ended up basically giving stuff away. It feels terrible to be selling something at a very fair price and then have to deal with someone telling you they want "your best price", when my best possible price was my first price.

    I have also bought some stuff from the classifieds and had no problems each time. One thing I do is accept the asking price for what it is. I know some people are comfortable negotiating, but I am not. If I think something is overpriced, I carry on looking somewhere else.

    Jimmy is the go-to-guy for a downhill KOM. The only reason I got my QOM for a certain segment was drafting behind him. This is the other facet of strava (like survivor) ......you need to make the right alliances!!

    That is the funny thing about strava If I took it as gospel then I am faster than Maroesjka Mathee and Asleigh Moolman Pasio. The pros need recovery rides too
