  1. Can't believe people on here are comparing bikes based on LOOKS!! What the hell people...It's not a game of "spot the differences"...it's about geometry, suspension design etc. Besides....there are only so many ways a triangle with 2 wheels can look.
  2. Glad you're okay and good to know the Bell did it's job since I also have one. Love the 2 helmets in 1 feature that the removable chin guard brings to the party.
  3. I see it's also available in blue
  4. I might be interested. Will send you a pm.
  5. Not bad for a first post What a beaut mate.
  6. I hope I can get over the stigma someday because I can see some benefits...like being able to do multiple runs.
  7. I won't judge...although I think it's more of an "industrial plumbing" look
  8. Exciting prospect but soooooo....fugly Maybe if it's all in one colour and with a better name!?
  9. Nice one. Digging that mudguard!
  10. Nope, same geo. New colours and some slightly different cable routing options are the only changes that I'm aware of.
  11. Sure you're not seeing the same picture going round? Jokes aside, how many have you seen?
  12. Settling has never been easier...
  13. Fugly indeed...but apparently rather special http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/category/bikes/mountain-bikes/full-suspension/product/review-mojo-nicolai-geometron-50373/
  14. Funny how we all differ because this colour scheme just won't grow old for me
  15. Thanks for the replies guys. These Da Bombs stems look like a good option. Sending you a pm for pricing.
  16. Oh and no...Perormancebikes.co.za does not have stock of the Stryge35
  17. Any tips on where I can find short (50mm-ish) 35mm diameter stems locally?
  18. My Ground Control rear tire also started "sweating" sealant all along the sidewall but that was after a full season of hard work and no punctures so personally I'm happy to pay the affordable price for a new one and chuck out the weeper.
  19. Yeah I also moved over from the Schwalbe camp. While the NoNi worked and held up okay on the front the RoRo on the back was a disaster on anything other than smooth jeep tracks. Even with my feathery weight of 70kg (no calves) they kept puncturing. The spez tires, regardless of their stupidly affordable price, are just better for my type of riding. Stronger, grippier and not THAT much heavier.
  20. Yes....they're brilliant and their price is unbeatable. Read bikeradar reviews and you'll see that both the Buther and the Ground Control makes it onto their top 10 list. Personally I'd take the Buther over the Purgatory up front as it is a bit more versatile and then I have Ground Control on the back for a little speed and slide
  21. How'd you manage that if I may ask? What wheels and fork on it?
  22. Sorry, I have a 110...but even she refuses to get on a scale so goodluck with the 140's
  23. Black!? Where? ;-)
  24. Who the hell filmed me while I was riding!?
  25. Yeah, my (un)fitness levels killed me as well but that's not the organiser's fault. Was a great event and a nice way of giving the enduro scene a bash and I too hit my goal...of not being in the bottom 10 :-)
