Would be nice if the organisers could publish the entry list . I checked the Desert Dash website today and there is a full list . Publish like name age nr of Munga’s done

So this from someone who has never warmed to MvdP’s personality but admires his abilities . will never forget that Amstel Gold win of his 3 years ago. so reassuring to see the many hubbers on this thread that can be counted on to ALWAYS take the right decision in difficult situations . Just wondering how many of those cool and calculated heads ever had the pressure of a whole cycling mad nation expecting them to win a gold medal the next day.

My mistake . Fd mount not on seatpost but on lower pivot mount . Bought the frame and fork as 2018 model but saw later that 2018 Scalpel came with Ocho fork and this had the pre Ocho fork so I suppose it is a 2017 .

I need to fit a side swing direct mount front derailleur on a pre Ocho Scalpel . Shimano 2 x 11 group. The frame has 2 horizontal fixing points on the seatpost, one a bit recessed. Which of the zillion fd’s out there will work …and where to get. thanks

A local customer brought his 4 year old Silverback Sesta that he bought in Gauteng to my shop showing me that the rear tire was rubbing against the left seat stay . Customer weighs about 120kg . I approached Silverback with the problem . Not having seen the problem before they immediately sent my a new main pivot bolt . Not asking for a receipt or date of purchase. After having replaced that the problem was still evident . Immediately they sent me a new rear triangle and a replacement male and female bolt for the rear shock pivot. And all the time Daniel from Silverback kept me in the loop. And no charge to the customer for the replacement parts. Impressive guys . i
