    Drill a small hole at the back of the seat tube , fit threaded plug ( with a pop rivet like tool) and thread a cable stop for a down pull Fd.

    Thanks . The difference in price is much more than the difference in performance . My riding does not justify the Lynskey but sold my road bike and the FARR frame so justified it to myself . It is a nice to have.

    My gravel bike on my way to the start of the CTCT on Sunday . Maxxis Ramblers 43's on , was considering buying a set of 35/38C road tyres but did not want to spend that for one tar event per year . Had a fantastic ride , nice gearing for and old man , good grip , hydraulic discs and no worries about punctures . On our dirt roads I sometimes long for a shock and I have a Lauff on the shelf but that will spoil a beautiful bike ?

    Why not use a BOB trailer ? I look at the regular cyclist travelers passing through with their overloaded unwieldy bikes and wonder why no one uses a BOB . I have'nt done more than 4 days with mine but it is so easy . Suppose it depends on the terrain . I have an extra one if interested .

    Did 4 of 21 Tours on a tandem , 2 with my wife and 2 with my youngest son and those 4 stand out in terms of good memories

    Don't you have the possibility of a conflict of interests when giving an opinion and quote on a repair ?Remember , the test is not whether you have a conflict or not , but if there is a possibility of a conflict .

    Let us assume you lose this fight and let them repair it , but you decide to sell it . As an honest hubber you declare the facts . Who is going to buy it ? So the result is that you are NOT in the same position as you were before the accident .
