  1. I had a A/C Joint seperation 2 years ago. The Surgeon said go look on the internet, you will find 44 ways to fix it. If any worked there would only be 2 or three.
  2. Heck guys you need to Fly luxury class now and then for perspective, Sky van. Plenty room for bikes. This was the view forwards and backwards from my seat this week. My return flight was cancelled yesterday as the operator did not get his fuel delivery. If the weather holds I may get out tomorrow.
  3. With FNB you go to the FNB website and confirm the payment online using the reference number on the proof of payment. Surely its the same with Nedbank?
  4. Suit Yourself too!
  5. If you selected delivery by royal mail or parcelforce you collect from the P.O. The PO should send you a slip telling you that its there and how much to pay, but don't bank on it. If its coming Parcel force follow the tracking into SA the phone international mail for the local Tracking number.
  6. A demonstration on the importance of opening the top valve to air when you attempt to suck the fuel out of a tank. Air pressure from outside an empty vessel is powerful.
  7. I use this air horn. (From CRC) It is most effective for clearing the path. 115decibels of fun!

  9. Twangiza DRC. I rode in the dark though, on the bike at 4:37am this morning.
  10. Mostly, but being 60+ does lessen the numbers of opposition a bit.
  11. I did 3 races in the last month, and I got my entry fee back in prize money each time. So the answer is simple, get fit enough win your catergory and earn your fee entry back.
  12. You can do something about it yourself , just go and organise a few events.
  13. Parcel force is normally 7 to 12 days for me to Louis Trichardt PO. I just has some stuff Royal Mail - it took almost 3 weeks
  14. Yeah if I am at the back on the single track the guys in front see nothing - their lights seem to throw only shadows.
  15. 1800 on Bars and 900 on Helment - Exposure Six Pack and Exposure Diablo
  16. The Guy in Pink is effeminate? Ok.
  17. We had a 30km Mountain Bike race in the Zoutpanberg yesterday. The route will be the same as the route for the 30Km event on The Kremetart week-end. I recorded 737metre of ascent and as I had taken part in a 74Km road race on Saturday I felt every metre of that ascent.
  18. The Kremetart and development of cyclists. In addition to the Kiddies races on Friday evening (8th June) the Krematart also has the Funride on Saturday 9th and the 10 Km Mountain bike race on Sunday (10th) for younger cyclists . These two events will will carry serious prizes for under 10, under 11 under 12 and under 13 year old for both Boys and Girls . The club has also established as a permament feature a small off-road track in the Tree Park near the Info Centre, with bumps and jumps etc. . This facility will be available all week-end for the younger folk to develop their biking skills. Folks the message is make sure you bring bikes for the whole family when you come for the Kremetart.
  19. Depends i think on the level of the competitor. For the top guys I would say the Epic is tougher, and for the back markers the comrades.
  20. I hope to post the accommodation co-ordinators details as soon as the organisers get back to me. There is a list of accommodation however on www.kremetartcycling.co.za
  21. With your first few jabs you can get mild flu symptoms. I have been having the jab every year for about 20 years so it does not have any effect anymore. If you have a jab every year it seems that you eventually build up a good resistance to just about all types of flu. I never seem to get flu at all. Have a jab now & you got plenty of time to get over anything.
  22. 2002 Womens winner was Bronwyn Swanepoel, then an international entrant from Zimbabwe. What has happened to Bronwyn?
  23. The competition extends to females of all ages during the Kremetart week-end. These are from the Friday evening events.
  24. Will not be neccessary to have a MTB in 20 years as all the mountains will have benn levelled.
  25. With plenty money at stake no wonder the competition is so tough in the womens race.
