  1. Interesting line from Chunky the past four weeks I have heard this statement from many a top cyclist/manager/agent. "In cycling the first thing you learn is worry about yourself and nobody else" One of our top junior ladies father made the same comment whilst preparing her on the track last saturday as well. Now I understand the reasons behind the apathy to have provincial/national academies set-up for the enhancement of local talent. Only invest where you know a return on value will be given to you either financially or personally.Surely Rob discussed this issue with management when informed of his selection.
  2. Is there place for disabled cyclists as well?
  3. Bih H do not stir!!!!!!
  4. Well done Doug, hopes this brings an end to the Banji saga. By the way Banji tell the hubbers what financial benefits this brought you.
  5. Banji is part of the MTN clan hence he knows the inside stuff and rides the EtE in the mornings as well.

    Lost Post

Groot Lem think about this phrase" doctor in the bottle" then picture banji
  7. I believe this can be good for your track teams at least someone is showing an interest in getting cyclists on the track, BUT please do not start using RED TAPE to prevent them riding rather sit down and TALK. The OLD SCHOOL is out let us start thinking laterally and broaden the scope of cycling in the country.
  8. well done on your win Chilli
  9. There is a few track bikes available for use by the newbies. Martin is very helpful.
  10. Zoo Cookie if I finish Krem without issues you will not have a problem at all, remember to drink on route as it is important.
  11. Sunday morning at 08H30 enjoying my morning run when I approach GCT and Ondekkers road I proceed across GCT when I notice this bunch of as^%$es ride through the RED ROBOT and expect me to stop for them even though I have right of way group size about 12 including dum*&^s women led by clown in Eskutel top. I stopped and told them exactly what I thought of them, the cowards they are threw insults back but had no courage to dismount and get a Sunday morning hiding which I would have given out for nothing as it is this selfsame bunch making a mockery of the work Shaunh and Giovanni does with regards safety for cyclists. I have noticed on several occassions that CAPRI CYCLES seem to enjoy breaking every rule the cyclists should follow on public roads, for instance on the Randfontein stretch they ride 4/5 abreast in the yellow and left lane and have the no respect for fellow cyclists using the road as well when they ride up Ondekkers towards Newlands it is the same thing they block the whole left lane because they must chat to their buddy next to him/her. Remember your numbers cannot protect you against a vehicle and there will be no sympathy for your when it does occur infact I will testify on behalf of the driver as to your stupidity.
  12. Well done Gary Please inform who your forum is, I think it is an ideal starting point for guys such as Greyowl and Chunky to get involved with you guys.
  13. Old Dog I believe the hosting province should be afforded the accolade as they ensured all systems were in place. Well done to them.
  14. Chunky it takes a man to apologize, well done. Now if only others can be so honest in their assessments.
  15. Welcome to the new CSA board. Not what one expected but you have to give them the opportunity to prove themselves. Two positions I am a bit weary about. Both existing members who in my opinion did not fulfill their mandates in the past. Time will tell if they are ready to change. Mnr COO make sure your mandates are clear and do not allow bully tactics to be used. Popeye was your license money on the audited list?
  16. Rasta ons wag vir die volledige lys asb. You are killing us.
  17. Pops What I am stating is we clubs reps especially in Gauteng did not ensure the nominations lists for CSA Congress was what we wanted. we left it to the exec and that is where we messed up.
  18. SMS not good from the windy city, seems we the clubs allowed our provincial bodies to much atonomy hence they doing what they want down at Congress. Who shall survive the onslaught, Time to be politically correct and play the game outside of the rules
  19. Popeye if the following is not elected based on DEMOCRATIC nominations then the "Boere mafia" really exists.Mugabe se voet. Pres: Lawrence Vice Pres:Greg Till Road: Doug Trans/Dev: Breeze/Ian G(Groot Lem se right hand man) Head Selectors: Groot Lem Finance: Mark Bradley
  20. Amoryn sien ons die padfiets op die Panorama?

    CSA database

Online cards are the credit type and the laminated one's are the hand delivered application one's. After having a session with the Myrace and COO officer I am now more aware as to what issues needs to be dealt with within CSA licensing dept.
  22. I think the following solution would suit the old guard: Disband all the provinces and run the sport from CSA offices only, then there is no need to question or moan about anything.
  23. Sorry to see Admin drawn into this mess, I respect your decision Admin however those behind this decision should bear the brunt and consequences to follow. Strange that the selfsame CSA board members leak this info and now we are stumped.Take note BOARD MEMBERS not CSA EMPLOYEES. We are now starting to follow the ZIM REGIME because the truth hurts. Dictatorship is but for a short time only time I recruited that chap Stofile jun into cycling to rattle a few feathers methinks.
  24. It is sad when one answers a question about MTN others jump to conclusions. Shifter what facts you talking about.
