For me part of being on the hub is passing on my good used parts and bikes to fellow enthusiasts. I like to think my move ons are good value and I sell for what I would pay. I rarely battle to sell stuff. I recently had the opportunity to sell to a well known entity that sells on the Hub. I declined the trade and would have to say the guy was incredibly polite. I knew what I had would sell fast so maybe that's why I held the moral high ground I understand everyones right to earn a living but buying on the hub to instantly resell irks me. At least add value and sell it on a build.

I think for bike parts though the hub is always going to be best - or for vintage bikes and the likes where you need a specific market In the last 2 weeks I have sold a lot of stuff and had great response and fantastic dealings - these items would still be on gumtree I believe

23rd at Paris Nice is not exactly mind blowing - just in you head as fast as you can count 10 guys that are better - so easy these days with the talent out there. It's the golden age of cycling or someone has got great gear. I'd really love to be wrong but I just don't think so

Mvdp is that you ? Use carbon paste and torque to spec. The carbon paste helps a lot Get someone to check your bars out and if you aren’t happy rather don’t take a chance Better a new Lyne set of bars than a trip to the hospital

I was watching Paris Nice on DSTV which is cancelled end of this month - The commentator just ruins the race. Nothing wrong, just so dull and uninspired. Switch to GCN and never tuned back into Paris Nice. The GCN/eurosport commentary was amusing and even the odd blunder is better than a guy putting me to sleep. My favourite chirp and I'm too lazy to accurately quote it was Carlton Kirby saying the guy who came 5th might as well claim that as his first pro victory because the first 4 don't count as they are in a different league Uninspired commentary turns off non cyclists as well as fans

I completely agree with you and I think Cav does too but I hope you are wrong I really admire the guy who clearly just loves riding his bike and I think with his health issues could not wrap up his riding career in style He was honest about his second place and his schedule but just wants to ride and race
