  1. IIRC she hitch hikes at the Willowmore sign just outside Uniondale. Might be the other way round. The road has moved a bit north in recent years tho. IMO It's a unique and beautiful part of the country. Maybe not for everyone but I love the R62 and that sort of terrain.
  2. The road has moved about 100m north. That and her beau died some time ago.
  3. It's everywhere. Try go buy bedding. It's all the cr@p that didn't get sold last year and the year before. What really concerns me tho is the astronomical jump in the price of certain commodities. I used to be able to buy honey for around R65 for 350ml. The cheapest I could get the other day was R110. Not normal.
  4. No I'm not selling my Jeffsy for a bargain basement price.
  5. I have an Intense M9. In Metalic blue. 1 of 2 brought into the country. It was a custom color that the CRC team ran. Less than 20 were produced. It's priceless to me but I could sell it for MAYBE 6k. Shirts happen.
  6. Real Road Racing is truly BIZARE!! Kevin Schwantz at the 1988 Macau GP. Making the road racer guys look a little silly on his 500. Is there a better sound on this planet than a 500cc Moto GP bike?
  7. Kneeboarder/Half man/Cripple.
  8. Remi Thirion on Giant. Hopefully they put a good structure together around him.
  9. Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama. This is mid 90's. These guys were 20 years ahead of everyone.
  10. The world's greatest waterman. Ever. It's easy to watch what he does and kind of get blase about it coz he seems to do it with such aparent ease. Don't be fooled tho. There's 2 skis and a boat covering his every move and there's a lot of physical, mental and equipment prep that goes into it. Stuff can go wrong but those guys know it's not a game. I do think they treat the ocean with the respect it deserves.
  11. SP1 is my dream bike. When I bought my CBR600 there was one in JHB for the same money as my CBR. Getting it here would have been a bit of a challenge so of course I bought the CBR. Whataretard.
  12. Might have to accidentally trip and buy a plane ticket to Portugal. All of a sudden any thoughts of not taking the vaccine have evaporated.
  13. Don't be so hard on yourself. You are doing much better than you think you are.
  14. For him it's think. For you it's know.
  15. There I fixed it. (Runs for cover)
  16. On that thought I'd love to know what the most photographed trails in the world are. Off the top of my head the top 3 would be in no particular order A-Line Whister Vink Line Chatel G Spot Stellies
  17. Where the clubhouse is at Eden was definitely a shooting range at one point. Whether G Spot was a shooting range at one point is unknown to me. I'm fairly sure that the land is owned by the municipality. From memory Mark originally built the first line illegally and it sort of gained traction from there.
  18. There seems to be a cosmic link between dogs anuses and their owners ability to see. Dog gets exited. Dog takes a dump. This isn't exactly unprecedented behavior. And yet..... There's a little 60m path between baviaanskloof road and military road in HB. The amount of dog poo there is unbelievable. And there's a little bin with poo bags right there.
  19. There and pretty much the whole of the Constantia greenbelt. I checked under my shoes multiple times. Disgusting doesn't even begin to cover it.
  20. That's not how it works. When you make a statement or claim. The onus of proof is on you.
  21. Went for an early morning hike in HB Then I went for a "hike" in my wetsuit to Sandy Bay We went for a little Greenbelter on the MTB's. First time on a mountain bike in maybe 6 months. My overriding impression of the whole day was an ASTOUNDING amount of dog poo everywhere. Really incredibly disgusting.
  22. YOH! There's a movie on RB TV called Streif about that mountain. Madness!!!
  23. I know that road well.
  24. Where is this?
  25. I've been incredibly happy in my spot here. My other half and I have finally decided to pull the pin and move in together permanently. It's getting a little annoying living out of a bag 4 nights a week and always forgetting something.
