  1. Ah. Sorry man.
  2. He's one of the top 5 Enduro guys in the country. Just shows the monumental difference between the top guys, The really fast guys like Sharjah and normal people.
  3. Given the weather prediction that might be the result. Even if the final does go down and even if Vali crashes she's already sent out a VERY loud message to all of her competitors.
  4. Good Lord. Did I read that right? Vali 14 seconds up! Edit. Ok Tracey bringing a bit of sanity. First year Elites and she's doing that!!
  5. Ja. R50 from 6-7pm. Apparently the really fast boys are there on a Thursday night. Better than a Zwift session that's for sure.
  6. Went round and round and round in circles last night. Always fun at Killarney. No pictures. I was in the red the whole time so no time for selfies. Lot's to learn about drafting and when to push/back off.
  7. OK order placed. Let's see what's what. If they are any good I'll order a pair or 2 of trail shorts.
  8. SA Team. Tayho Garlicke Sharjah Greg Nic Velasco
  9. She walked her dog on the beach.
  10. I am quite possibly the k@kkest runner on planet earth so take this from whence it comes. My fiance and I started doing park runs in January as a bit of a laugh. Initially we REALLY struggled with leg, ankle, hip, knee etc pain. Coming from just riding a bike was a very painful experience. If you are looking at taking up running I'd take it super chilled getting into it. Your lungs, heart and legs are fine but that's not the full picture. On the bike (especially a road bike) the structure is holding you in place so you lose a lot of muscle function from those stabilization muscles around your joints. And those are the boys that hurt like a motherfer. Gradually that changes. I'm still super kuk and slow but I really enjoy it and we're running about 20km a week now. It's a great workout and you can obliterate yourself in an hour quite easily. *Edit. My one colleague started running during lockdown from doing absolutely nothing. First run was around 10.00 per km. He's now running 5km 4 times a week at around 5.30 per km.
  11. Yeah it's pretty early for snow that's for sure. Long range weather prediction is for some A LOT OF rain. The question is who's been training and who's been throwing whips in the bikepark? I'm calling Danny Hart for the win. In the ladies Nina Hoffman. It will be checkers or wreckers for her but that's the nature of Worlds anyway.
  12. I had a similar issue on my work machine which prompted me to by my own computer for cycling apps. I think your problem might be .net framework related. Try going in to Windows Features and untick .net framework 3.5 I'm assuming you have 4.8 installed. I know it's not supposed to be this complicated.
  13. Celeste is blue
  14. Heal up fella. You're an inspiration to many.
  15. Haha. Flip this morning was amazing. Overcast. No wind.
  16. I've been cheating on you Tony.
  17. Erm. YES. Big time. For many years the only reason I ever saw a doctor was for ear infections.
  18. Hahaha. That's super funny. Years ago. Same spot, Same conditions, same type of incident. My board split my cheek. The scar is still there. I could blow air through the hole. I had a lumo wetsuit and the blood was quite impressive. When I came out the water I asked a lightie on the beach if I was bleeding. The look on his face told the story. Hahaha. Couple of stitches at the hospital in Fishhoek and I was ready to roll again.
  19. Good luck getting out there without a ski at that size. I surfed Ulu's at high tide and paddling out of the mouth of that cave is one of those seminal moments as a surfer. Forget the fact that it stinks of piss and the locals are harrasing your bird for massage, braid your hair, hashish, cocacola, caps, watches, pay for parking etc etc etc etc. Like jumping off the point at Supers for the first time. Except supers is about 4000% cleaner. Another Seminal moment is hanging your bike on the Chavannes lift in Les Gets and seeing the trail below you and spotting Mont Blanc through the trees.
  20. Pottz or Dane? My one board had a pink lightning flash design based on a T&C that I saw Matt Archbold riding in a movie called Amazing Surf Stories
  21. Does anyone know of a brand that does a pair of grippy riding shoes for flats that don't make me look like I'm trying to be a skaterboy? Something with a boa dial.
  22. Thanks. Ja I just assumed it wasn't available. I'm not doing any "training" at the moment so I'm just doing good ol rides with youtubes on a second screen for distraction. Doing pancake flat stuff. The Ironman rides are nice for that type of thing. Trying to keep my watts below 2 watts per kg just ticking along.
  23. Hahaha. Indeed.
