  1. You talking about he link I posted? I don't think the oke who wrote the article knows which races the riders are targeting.
  2. Looks like a climbers tour for sure. Only 22km of TT 4 summit finishes https://www.cyclingnews.com/features/tour-de-france-2023-analysing-the-contenders/
  3. Not so sure about that. The stage into Morzine includes the Joux Plane which is a beast of a climb. They're also doing the col de la loze and grand colombiere. Oh they're also doing the Aspin and the Tourmalet on stage 6. And Cambasque. Jissie.
  4. I NEEEEED TO GO BACK THERE
  5. You need to get a little active down south when your summer rolls around next year
  6. WOAH WOAH WOAH hold the fkin fone there batman. You live in Europe and GRTP is the best bike park you've ridden?
  7. I still want a Tarmac.
  8. My experience with government online systems is that they are done half arsed at very best. And if you deviate even slightly from their process it all falls apart and you are screwed. @The Ouzo when you tried to add kids you probably went off the critical path and now you're in the abyss of incompetence.
  9. Bit of a trend here.
  10. Busy wearing this part of the mix tape out at the moment. RIP Mike Star & Layne Staley.
  11. I didn't say very strong and very fast. I said very strong very fast. I meant in a short amount of time. The OP says he wants a bike to do cardio and get the heart rate up. I think doing spinning is better for that than buying a 3k bike that's going to fall apart.
  12. My 2c from the left of the field. If you're looking at losing your boep and gaining some fitness I'd not buy a bike. At your budget it's going to be *** and you'll hate every second of it. Rather join a gym and do spinning classes. 4 of those a week will make you VERY strong very fast. Most gyms now have structured workouts where you can "race" against yourself and others to keep things entertaining. My step daughters gym uses an app called spivi which works on your ftp so you can do proper structure. It's not like the old days where you measure how welll you did based on the pool of sweat on the floor. You most certainly don't want to be riding a stationary bike in a gym. That's a waste of time and will do nothing for you.
  13. A little update on Ulf. The class type training really didn't work for him. He just wants to go and he got frustrated in that environment. So we just decided to take the pressure off and run him on the beach etc. We live close to the mountain and the beach so off we go every day. There's a doggy park close to us and I do a little ball throwing and the like with him. When we're in the doggy park I make him plats. I then make him stay and run away. I then say COME. He comes at me at full pace. I toss a ball and then he hammers the tug I'm holding. It's quite scary having this guy came at me full pace. He always draws a bit of a crowd there and the kids shouting ATTACK is quite funny. We've bought a bite sleeve and we play with that with him a few times a week. I'd like to replace the tug with the bite sleeve at the park but I think the HB dears will have a **** fit thinking I'm training an attack dog in the doggie park. We have done a bit of scent play with him in the garden where we cut a lemon in half. Hide the one half and let him sniff the other half. Then we make him soek. He's never not found it. We run with him 2-3 times a week. I've got a waist harness and a stretchy lead. If you see a fat oke running a mali in a red harness on Chappies that's us. He started reacting to cars but we've trained that out of him. If I could stop him gapping for the birds that would be nice.... I've joined a dog trailing group with him where they do trailing of crims and trailing of missing persons. He's only been to two sessions and he's doing amazingly well. We trained at Builders warehouse on Thursday and the top of Constantia last night. He already understands the job. The down side is he is so amped that he pulled me off my feet yesterday. There's another mali there. A proper working dog that's part of constantia crime watch. My dog is a maltese poodle compared to that mad thing. When he barks he bounces in his cage and literally bounces the bakkies suspension. Beautiful but scary. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation where a working line mali is chasing you down run TOWARDS the handler. So WHEN it ABSOLUTELY DRILLS YOU you the handler will be nice and close to pry it off you before you lose an arm. I'm not joking.
  14. Now we know why Schumi was so much fitter than the other drivers
  15. I thought someone was moaning about the type of plug sold with their e-bike.
  16. When you sit in front of that cop and you have to sign that you understand that you are the subject of a criminal investigation it's a very serious situation. Normal people **** themselves. In real life people with real jobs and real houses and real bank accounts and families can't "get off the grid"
  17. Yes. And if the cop does even a half job the oke will have to go in and sign that he is aware of the criminal charge being laid against him. This in itself is a very scary experience for most normal humans.
  18. I had a bike stolen years ago. I bought the bike back from the person who was riding it. Long story but someone I know saw the bike being ridden and I was going to Nigeria the next day so I organized to buy the bike back. I reported the recovery to the insurance co who promptly came to my house to collect what was by then their bike as I'd been paid out. So doosie over here was out of pocket and inadvertently contributed to the bike theft problem. Not my cleverest moment but I was in love with that bike.
  19. Yes I do. Very interesting hey? There's still a small little dent but I'm going to try the glue gun and coke bottle trick on that.
  20. So in an interesting twist of fate the ding in my tailgate seems to have fixed itself. There's still a small dent with an Oakley logo in the middle of it but the fairies repaired the main big dent.
  21. If she's a vegan tell him to dump her immediately.
  22. Campy my bru. Tougher than a Ford.
  23. Runners and pedestrians are not allowed beyond the top lookout going towards Noordhoek and they are not allowed beyond where the shark spotters are from the Noordhoek side.
