and any idea of what one can expect to pay for such a custom item?

I ran the sums awhile back, you should not pay more than R250 per chain ring, some laser cutter will have a min charge, usually within the R400 range, still cheaper than getting some standard SS chain rings

Not my frame, it's for a good friend of mine, he has had the frame for a year now, it's been boxed.

Fire Engine did the split :D the man is a genius.

The belt drive goodies took a while and we needed to get a custom built fork that is 1 and 1/8 th. steerer.

I will post some nice pics.

Close up pic of the split please?

The short answer No...( My bosses have something against making money)

But I can send a dxf to you... You welcome to add your own designs and signature .

And any laser cutter can cut them.

Did you use Sprocketeer to generate the DXF?

Posted

nope.

used draftsight. basically just an autocad veriant

Cool thanks. If you are planning on cutting more, go have a look here. You input the variables for the sprocket (Pitch, no of teeth, roller dia) and it generates a dxf. You add the BCD details and any artwork and viola! Save it as a dwg and send it to laser for a quote.
