My new single speed project build is complete! Was really fun to build up a bike from scratch!

Full carbon 29er Single speed bike weighing in at 8.3Kgs. Could be sub 8Kg with slightly lighter tyres and rims.

It up in the classified section if anyone is interested in a really light fast racing single speed ready to hit the trails!

very nice but consider taking a link out of your chain. will look better and you will have better chain wrap.

Why I can't wait for the weekend.

Finished the build last night. Learned a lot. Putting on brake hoses. Ghetto tubeless, Did everything but the wheelbuild myself.

Jarre talking bout ghetto tjoepless.... been doing some upgrades to my SS and desided to go ghetto on the wheels. BIG mistake pumping the damn thing too hard with the compressor.... had the backwheel say BOOOOOM just a few minutes ago hahahahahaha Geax sealant everywhere.... had to laugh at myself for making such a rookie mistake as I have literally done hundreds over the last few years.... eish.... now to go clean off all the sealant....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Everyone has issues sometimes.... I just blew a tire up on my trainer... while riding.... about 20 min ago..... thought someone had taken a shot at me....

Luckily I have plenty of spare old road tires...

I have a theory regarding this. Spend enough at a bike shop and thay'll piss you off by getting the basic wrong.

Move on to the next shop and repeat

I've had a tyre blow off the rim while in my hand.

Used the air at the garage, and was trying to get those last little pops.

I'm sure the gauge still said about 2 bar, then BOOM.

I think the gauge may have been faulty.
