There would have been loads of people, you could have chased him down, and got all the details. Why come on here to look for info ? If you know about cycling you could have taken this up with PPA, the police etc. I cant get my finger on it - but something is not sitting right.

He did actually get the number (on p.1 or p.2) nevertheless, even though this thread is becoming a bit too he said;she said for my liking it does raise a pertinent question. Is there a register for cyclists to record their s/number? I have it written down but in the case of a fire or being totally cleaned out an online register would provide a great back-up. Cyclists name (or nom de plume in the case of the Hub), bike model and s/n? Is it available? And if not could we set something up?
