oooooooooh, tell me what I said then.

Tell me which of the 10 commandments I disobeyed

This echoes a man who lives in Nigeria's usual comments.

Gosh, where have I been all day, power failure the entire day and I missed around a week by the look of it

As for the OP, you will find most hubbers extremely helpful and the General actually raises a few good points.

Dear Silverback Ru.

Do NOT STOP, CARRY ON gather ALL THE INFO you Can.

Approach PPA, request a meeting with Chairman and Office Manager.

Or go about tracing him up VIA communitty contacts, putting up Notices at Police stations and Supermarkets.

Open a Case at your Police station.

Once you have his Address do the Visit after 18h00. Approach Police station and request their participation, show them the Case docket.

If he does deny then you Inform your Detective of address of said property and let the Police settle the Matter.

"I did just THAT after Tracing Up the Bike, collected my bike 3 Days later from Police Detective."

Post some PICS OF YOUR Bike, one of us may just recognise your.

Something that I have been wanting to ask.

If you saw the guy go past, why did you not do something about it then ?

There would have been loads of people, you could have chased him down, and got all the details.

Why come on here to look for info ?

If you know about cycling you could have taken this up with PPA, the police etc.

I cant get my finger on it - but something is not sitting right.

Yeah, at least tail the dude for long enough to get his number and then approach the police and organisers.

I have 3 photos of him from Actionphoto, but only copies and pasted is from the website, I should probably order one and post, I don't want to infringe on Actionphoto's copyright.

Then I will post!

www.racetec.co.za can't you find his details there?

What if it is a tall "tail"? :P

He did actually get the number (on p.1 or p.2) nevertheless, even though this thread is becoming a bit too he said;she said for my liking it does raise a pertinent question. Is there a register for cyclists to record their s/number?

I have it written down but in the case of a fire or being totally cleaned out an online register would provide a great back-up. Cyclists name (or nom de plume in the case of the Hub), bike model and s/n?

Is it available? And if not could we set something up?
