I'll just leave this here.

Must say I also dont understand how Rosberg got super softs while Hamilton got softs at that last stop. When Hamilton queried it he was told it was the best option to win. So why didnt Rosberg get the same tyre considering he was 1st and pitted 1st too?

Then a brake failure on the last lap?

Now Tonto is talking team orders, what a farse

Apparently Rosberg did not have an extra set of soft

Yes, because tyre restrictions increases excitement, rather let everyone have the fastest tyres and race.  FIA pffff

Give them one tank of fuel and one set of tyres. If the driver needs a new set then he has to change them himself. :whistling:

Would really like to know what the deal is here.

Quite interesting indeed, I didn't watch the race but looked it up quickly

Post clash coming down the straight, yellow is out

Hamilton passes, yellow is out mid-corner

Green light on, only after the exit, because one of the Force India's went for a stroll in the kitty litter

Quite clear that Hamilton passed under yellows. Not sure what the penalty is, think it's either drop the position or 30s added to race time?

Nico had a broken car and no speed. Therefore the pass. He got a reprimand for not getting of the track when he noticed his problems.hamilton was cleared because of that.

Wonder what the outcome would have been if safety car was deployed and everybody had to stay behind rosberg....

Ham was clearly catching up to Ros. Lap times show this.

Tyres, talent - doesn't matter.

If there was a yellow flag out just prior to the collision between them, why did Ros overcook the entry into the corner?

Slow mo clearly shows that his wheels were still going straight, whilst Hamilton was turning in, on the outside.

Think Ros ran out of talent, and made a shitty decision. Merc could have still had a 1 / 2 on the podium.

Not a fan of Rosburg. As for the booing by the other camp, loved the way Ham handled it in the interview.

FYI for the Rosberg fans : Hamilton, Verstappen and Raikkonen all passed Rosberg under the yellow flags as he had a self inflicted broken car.

If they've been cleared by race direction then there's no issue. Wasn't aware that it was actually investigated. All good.

So Mercedes in Baku knew not to tell Lewis how to fix his wheel so as not to contravene the radio rules. Forward to Silverstone and they blurt it all to Nico. What the hell!!!!

Overall the race was alright, still cant believe the best drivers in the world need to start behind a safety car for standing water. I mean seriously, thought this was the pinnacle of racing.
