Very few people have had that honor of late. And now, ironically, two retires this season. Maybe he could have gone on to defend, maybe another team will completely dominate next year - who knows?! In all likelihood it could not have been much better next year. He accomplished his dream, quitting while you're ahead is not the worst option.
