They simply cannot understand moral messages underneath all the fairies, magic, violence ext. We have become a society that will eagerly trade our time, energy and wealth for flash and shiny trinkets. Entertainment are becoming more like the porn industry in the 70's, the movie was rated by the size, duration and frequency of bangs rather than the story line...... Then there is of course the fact that if you are driving too slow and disrupting the traffic you are more of a danger to other road users than those driving 'too fast'. Thankfully, TheHub seems to attract a far better crowd. However, asking someone to respect your views is disrespecting that person's views. It's the internet - if you get worked up by every racist's/bigot's/misogynist's remarks your life is going to be filled with lots of unhappiness and misery. If you don't like what you see, move on. I don't think anyone ever successfully convinced another person to change their point of view in an internet forum (the irony of that last sentence isn't wasted on me).
