Why change a winning formula....?

This is a 911 67S probably one of the most sought after Porsches you can / cant find... It worked then and it works now...

Much bastardised that one... by a guy who makes rockstar clothes for a living.... looks cool, but I am pretty sure that body is not a genuine '67S bodyshell - maybe a T....  not that there is any difference, except for the numbers and the value....

Little quote

"Six or seven years ago, you would've found no less than 5 Porsche 911 67Ss behind the doors of Magnus's garage. The rare model, sought after as the Holy Grail of early Porsches by many, hadn't reached the high value that it pulls in today. Amongst his collection sat this very 67S. Purchased in 2007, the old 911 was in desperate need of love but it wasn't until a few years later that rust repair would commence and the project would be under way. The car was rolled into a blast booth to unveil the rust that hid under the aged paintwork. Time had eaten away at the floors and attacked the parcel shelf. The usual rust spots were all weakened and weathered, so it was wheeled into 'The Chop Shop' to fit replacement panels,  ensuring that the body was restored to its original vigor. Once completed, primer was applied to ward off future corrosion, but then its journey came to an abrupt halt and it sat....for years."

Magnus is not going to bastardise a real '67S - they are worth huge money - and he knows that...  numbers matched cars are worth over 6 figures US... and if they are 'improved' then sigfnificantly less.

That said - the ONLY way you are going to know the difference between a '67T and a '67S body is by looking at the panel and chassis numbers

Magnus is a regular poster on a couple of Porsche boards - some of his builds are well documented - he is an interesting character.... :)

Edit - you can scratch around on his site http://www.magnuswalker911.com/ and see some of the build, or some of his older stuff is on pelicanparts.com.
