In SA the balloons would be at risk of getting stolen.

Mo no no,you don't understand how things work, us South Africans would NEVER steal the balloons. First we would remove 40% of the balloons as a form of tax and use them for the Nkandla and parliamentary parking areas. Then we would just re-deploy the next 40% for the benefit of the poor masses (cell phone owners). Hey, balloons are of strategic importance and nobody should be allowed to hoard them. Then we would punish the owners of the parking lot for not wanting to share and for running such a poor lot with only 20% of the balloons. Eventually we would insist all balloons be removed because they are yellow and that it might offend our Chinese masters. Then we'll say the balloons are unnecessary anyway as they are un-African and that the parking lot is so big anyhow that all the continents can fit into it with room to spare. Edited by DJR

I am certain he set the record straight when they got back to the barracks ....

Happened to my mate on the border. Bullet went through the back of his bush hat but missed his head. My mate could not talk for a couple of days he was so shocked. Shooter took much punishment from the rest of us for his stupidity as he did not clear his rifle when we returned to camp
