 Only seen this stuff sold in the Eastern Cape though.

 

 

It's kinda cool in a way that there are all these little soft drink companies around.

 

Over the last year, I have picked up some bottles are antique fairs from companies that used to operate around my town of Benoni. So far, have got from seven different companies, which at the time would have all been right in the city centre...which isn't all that big.   

grew up with Bashews .... a bakkie used to come around with crates of this stuff ... you buy a crate and return your old one with the bottles for a refund on your next purchase .... AWESOMENESS!

Yeah, the good old days

the Fishmonger used to come around as well blowing his horn. Just that sound alone indicated it was the dude with fish

 

I cant remember what the fruit and veg guy did, but these were entrepreneurs back then

Friend of mine collects bottles of different companies, he has just over 2500 different bottles. Will try and get a photo. Rather impressive!

The Mieeeeeeeelieeeeeeeeees Man has been back in my 'burb for a while, and there's an ice cream van most weekends. That's pretty cool.

we used to hitch a ride on the back of his milk/juice cart :P

LOL, we used to move it for the milkie, he would end up chasing and shouting at us, then we would just say, we just moving it to the next house. Eventually he let us do this

When I was in school one of the chicks we used to hang around with old man was a manager for Bashews.There was always a free supply at her house.The bitter lemon was the best.
