Pretty sure that is the new Ratel (also seen it called a Honey Badger) Infantry Combat Vehicle

That is a Rooikat. Nice and big inside, drives over anything and as comfortable as my Discovery 4. And if I remember correctly, carries a 105mm gun...

Technically you are correct about it not being a tank. No tracks, Has wheels. As for what it really is, I have no idea. Guess its easier for twitter to just call it a tank because people associate the huge "gun" sticking out the front as a tank.

Technically not. The Ratel had space for up to 6 troops in the back, and can be considered an APC. The Rooikat has no space for additional troops - it was only the gunner, driver, team commander and I think one more for communications. It's a mean piece of kit if used correctly. It's basically a tank with 8 wheels that goes like the clappers - we had it up to 120km/h on the highway...
