Utterly Majestic and so ahead of it's time.

 

I wonder how long it will take before a passenger plane goes supersonic again. 

Given air transport, I would say currently moving large amounts of people very fast is not going to happen. Rather move lots of people fast and is the airbus 380.

 

Very fast is for the smaller jets.

Probably Jinja where Lake Victoria flows out into the Nile

if all goes well, in a few years I will be going round Lake Victoria, cannot wait to see the start of the Nile!

 

Also want to see Lake Turkana, and Lake Malawi. Actually all the big lakes :)

If you get the time, you can do a day of white water rafting from Jinja. It's brilliant, floating down the Nile, interspersed with moments of sheer terror as you approach the rapids.

I doubt it will be any time soon. Aviation is on such a drive for efficiency and being "greener" that doing something that requires seriously thirsty engines is not viable.
