Okay, you can pull into a service station and hide there. What scares me is the fellow commuters that are not so sure on how to cycle in the wet... And the cars as well. Another issue is the white and yellow lines. They are like snot when wet...

Figured out a cool little 25km route and just rode my bike. So if you're reading some of the comments and they are slightly off putting, just do it once And you will realise that most of the niggles and worries are probably typed with a smile. Lots of blood The lesson for me was that danger comes from anyone - I mustn't only look for cars, but pedestrians and fellow commuters are equally unpredictable - need to know who's where all the time.
