It is amazing how people get worked up. I agree, the name calling was uncalled for I had an incident where on 2 mornings before sunrise I showed one of the local trucks running in this area that his lights were switched off. The 2nd morning when I showed him, the driver actually turned around and halved pushed me off the road to stop me. He shouted that who am I to show him signs. When I tried to explain that he is not visible enough and that I wanted to bring to his attention that his lights were off, he started swearing at me telling me it is his truck and nobody tells him what to do with his truck. He even threatened to drive me off the road if I did it again. I ignore him now completely. I did it in every interview I ever had. If this champion of things awry on our roads really wanted to make a difference why does he pick on a pimply youngster on a bicycle.Why not really show your balls and pick on a misbehaving Taxi. The one whose driver just came out of the shebeen, with ten of his mates. Or go to your local biker jol and tell the President of the club that most of his members are over the limit, then ask THEM QUESTIONS. And take some photos. If I am driving my car and stop at a robot, and the cyclist will do no harm in passing over the red light then that is fine. I would rather have him go and get out of my way for when it turns green again. As long as he doesnt approach the intersection at 50km/hour.
