Opened the door to let my gang out this morning and they all raced down the steps...and froze! This little female was cowering under a rose bush. Luckily my dogs are not aggressive so we have had no issues but now the problem is finding out whose dog it is! She either just managed to squeeze under the gate (and I say just managed as we have some wire at the bottom of the gates as the collies 'roll' their tennis balls under the gate to play with anyone who is passing by!) or someone put her through the gate during the night. She is very tiny, looks like one of those mini Dobermans! She even managed to growl once when I picked her up! Been up and down my road and no-one seems to recognize her...quite at home on the couch!

Unfortunately no-one had claimed her by yesterday so we have found her a new home with a friend of ours with the stipulation that if there are any issues she is to be brought back here (the lady was looking for a small lap dog to begin with). After looking at the gate over the weekend I can only assume some muppet put her over my fence during the night in the hope we would give her a home and look after her...

Good Morning Everyone.

GREAT NEWS!

I have managed to find good homes for 5 out of 6 of the boxer pups.

I have not sold any.

However, I am really happy that i have found them really good homes with great people. And i am able to visit them regularly as well which is awesome.

However, i have one male left.

I see no point in selling him, the only reason i advertised them for money was to avoid them going to rubbish homes.

It is for this reason that i am not advertising it free to a good home.

However, having been part of this thread for some time now, i have come to know most of you as complete animal lovers and thus feel comfortable enough to be able to ask you fine folks if any of you would love to own a lovely little boxer.

Or alternatively if you know of anyone looking for one.

Free to a good home. But it must be a good home.

Here is a pic of the little guy.

He has had his first batch of shots and has a clinic card.

Let me know.

Mr P,

I may have somebody for your boy.

The group of ladies in my hood that were responsible for me trying to rescue the labby caught in our hood & then sent to SPCA & where i saw Miss Molly & ended up falling in love (long story)....anyway, one of the ladies asked me if there were any other "Mollys" at the SPCA - Molly is half boxer & this lady was looking for a dog that would be able to offer a bit of protection to her. We sent her various rescue options but due to the nature of rescues, they have generally had a traumatic past & she decided against getting one as she is scared her small child may pull its tail or hurt it by mistake & it may lash out as a result of past traumas.

May I forward her a photo of your little chap? I dont know her personally but Im willing to do a home check before we agree & the group is a small one made up of animal lovers - and all started because of a rescue dog, so I think she would be a good home?

So her response was "yes, yes, yes!!! I Love Boxers"

Let me know if you'd like me to do a home check for you?

I think she would be on her way to fetch him now if she knew where to find you

She didnt ask how much, she just said yes immediately.

Maybe we can ask her to donate some bucks to our local animal rescue lady in exchange for this beautiful boy?

I had to chew out the dogs about chewing my cool stuff...

...an, no, that's not a boep I'm developing, it's just the way I'm standing...

Ooooh what did they chew?

Achilles stole my sweetie pie off the coffee table the other night, didn't need a trial he looked guilty as sin.

Flip-flop, a pair of sunnies, a saddle bag, the inner-sole of one of my MTB shoes...the list ges on...

Mine all pleaded innocence. Beano privileges are suspended until the guilty party comes forward. I have my suspicions though...

Archie developed a lump he scratched and started bleeding. Took him to the vet, and according to him it needs to be removed. So tomorrow it will be Archie and the cone of shame. No more cycling goodies for me, or any more baby stuff for the wife for a while, how far will one go to look after our pets?

We will be going all the way, to that special credit card!

Hmmm... they all look kinda guilty to me. I reckon it was a team effort. :-)
