No such thing as too technical. Just stuff I can't ride yet due to my mind blocking out my innate awesomeness.

As for levels of tech, it would be graded against each other. Eg: faerie garden is piss easy, therefore green. DH2, however, is not so piss easy, and is therefore black. Can I do both? Yes. The latter slower than I would like as its technicality outweighs my current ability and / or level of brass ball-ality.

Anything that is "too technical" would pose a challenge, nay, dare! to me, and I want to overcome that.

A while ago there was a thread about whether the Sani2C was technical or not.

I was interested because I wasn't sure what to expect. But there was no consensus because no one could agree on what was technical in the first place.

i have been told it is not technical by someone who has done it and is less technical than I and a girl (use that last bit of information how you want) :whistling:

I dont think the video or the pic above are too technical.

However I will try ride them at maybe 5kph.....not 25kph

Speed makes not technical very technical very quickly!!!

Not true.

Do you have any idea how fast you would have to go to get through those rotor blades?!!

If the tandem is upright? I agree bunnyhopping it would be technical

on it's side may be easier to clear - but lengthways on it's side is too technical

Not for Danny SuperMac - have you seen how he bunnyhops a gate? OK, not lengthwise, maybe.

how about wheelieing a tandem! now thats technical!

I concurr. That'd be off the wall technical. I'm getting a picture.. no, not possible.. google!

Come to think of it, I am not sure what pace you need to be jamming to clear a drop off on a tandem?? It might just be drop & off. Front guy drops and rear sod falls!

I'd consider bunnyhopping a tandem technical.

but the front wheel is off the ground! No two ways about it. That sir is a wheelie on a tandem (all seats occupied).. but look at the effort!!

ya but that proper wheelie is cheating as theres only one oke on the bike! ...

@ P&S .... i remember when Gary Perkin and his crew still raced Nationals MTB here back in 1994 ... there was one of the KZN guys who raced a tandem with his bird at the nationals that were held at van stadens resort. They hit the dropoffs and everything ... so it is possible
