The thing about guys who like old bikes is that even if they trade a bit to make pocket money, their hearts are right into it.  I could not have finished this project without those guys who hunted through their stuff for tiny things I'd never heard of. (waynesworld, evanB, jmk, sanfrancisco)

 

My LBS was also super patient

But most importantly, I have to give a shout out to James at Carbon Bicycle Repairs in Durbanville - he painstakingly touched up this frame which had many chips and scratches, colour by colour.

 

I will take credit for bringing the saddle and the chrome back to life - I'm not sure about using the saddle but it was made for the bike
