Add that to me having an emergency appendix removal and being booked off work means I got roped in to sort out my old Lego. Decided to build this 40 years after I lost the instructions. Really enjoyed doing that.I initially thought I would concentrate on the Technic sets with vehicles as a topic. Maybe one day the 911. Its on Facebook for R5300 now, not too far of the $330 of the Lego shop in NYC. But also saw an advert for a Lego Racers series (didn't know about it, discontinued in any case) of a 1:10 scale Ferrari. For sale for R3500. Searched for it on Amazon, 8 available between $985 and $1544 !!! It was launched in 2007 for $109 if the web is to believed ... Pieter1 Posted May 6, 2017 Share I was at the other Lego shop here today. The salesman says they know the Porsche is cheaper online and he is not sure why the price has not been adjusted. Apparently they did it with other sets just not the Porsche.This shop is massive. A big F1 Ferrari. And is this the discontinued one you were talking about? PhilipV Posted June 19, 2017 Share Got a Technic Telehandler set for Father's day. Built it. Disassembled it and built the other model as well. Will probably build the telehandler again soon, but at the moment I prefer the tow truck. Here it is towing my Model Team Hot Rod that I built as a Laaitie.
