Have you tried Highland Coffee Roasters? Last time I was there, their coffee was good.

Having their Brazilian at the moment and it is fantastic. Well worth a visit.

As long as you stay off your feet... and bikes..

Off the bikes but on my feet as per physio and doctors orders. Making great progress. Good to be able to make my own coffee again.

Ok so I havn't read all the posts but I must say I do appreciate a good cuppa every now and then.

Well good is preferencial I suppose??....I wanted to buy a Nespresso machine & then found a Caffe Luxe one for R 999. It works well but flavours are limited to normal med & dark roast in decaf & espresso.

I'm pretty sure the nespresso pods work in there so any recommendations on which to buy?

The problem with the nespresso jobbies is those pods get expensive.

They do make a nice cup.

So after a year i would have been financially better off if I bought a 5K bean to cup machine.

When we did the original math we drank one or two cup each a day.

Nice coffee makes you drink a few more.

First world problems

These ones work out about R 3.80 per pod so not 2 bad. Don't mind spending on a reaaaaalllly good brew.

I also don't drink sugar in my coffee so would like something with good flavour..

Hi guys, Anybody care to comment on the Aeropress thingie.

Is it worth it? Haven't got the space at work for a proper machine and a plunger is good but I've heard the aeropress is better.

I bought one recently which I keep at work. An awesome little plunger.

Had mine for a year now. I keep it at the office and make 2 cups every day. Really easy to get a good, consistent flavour out of it on a day to day basis.
