Found a place close to home that can supply freshly roasted beans. First batch was great but were consumed very quickly hence having to use oldish WW beans.

Nespresso!

When I wake up at 04:50 for my Sat ride, the last thing I want to do is faff about with grinding beans etc.

Switch it on, put my bibs on, and it is ready for me to push the buttom for my espresso.

Ditto for early morning gym sessions.

Need I say more!

And while on the subject of coffee shops - saw this one this morning - have not tried it, but I liked what was parked outside.

In Linden - 50 yards from The Wippet and the Argentinean (whose coffee sucks, but the pastries are ok)

edit - I realise the photo might not be quite clear enough - but the flag on the ghost bike say "In Loving memory of Burry Stander"

Yep that is a hangout for the Choc Cows and often the starting point for the Tour De Jozi rides...

Have you tried the Tribe brand from Food Lovers Market?

I have. On 2 occasions when I ran out from my regular supplier. I struggled to get my grind right and went much finer eventually. Didn't really like the coffee.

What does it mean of the beans are unpredictable and don't offer the same results day after day?
