Are you going to go "hippie" on that bike and not wear a helmet or will you do the sensible thing and keep the brain as safe as possible.

I have always like the idea of one of this, but in CT the wind could make things very interesting.

Well - the official line from BMW is no helmet required (and specifically not advised due to whiplash exacerbation) - and you are strapped in with of all things - 2 seatbelts...

So - just going to follow the official line... seems pretty friendly in the wind so far - don't even need glasses at 80... have to see how it goes...

Lekker, now I am not the only bastard who can be labelled as scooter boy.

You may well be a bastard scooter boy.... I fortunately have an older sister.... :)

Should save some in gas... 35k/l as opposed to 17l/100k...

I have wanted one for a while - found this one - 17 000 km in 12 years... should be free to use in about a year.

So, I finally decided to get the closer-to-sublime home theatre setup that I've wanted for a while and splashed out on:

  • Sony EX650 46" LED
  • A full set of Boston Acoustics C-series speakers (250w C226 floor standers, centre, large bookshelf surrounds and a C10 sub)
  • Pioneer KVX-522 receiver
  • Monster XP cabling

(Pardon me for the crappy pics, iPhones don't deal well with low light).

Looks almost the same as my kids tv lounge. Why didn't you mount the tv on the wall?
