I keep seeing hard tail Carbon GT's in the hub with this CNC machined aluminum parts where the rear wheel and brake caliper attach (rear dropouts?)

Also saw a black single speed like this.

I want to know more about it.

But when I look at the GT bikes on their website, I can not find this model or frame!

Is it an older frame? Don't they make it anymore?

 

Yeah, you are correct, I think they switched over to normal dropouts with the 2013 frames, as mine is a 2011 model and a friend of mine has a 2012 with the same dropout. Apparently it was designed to accomodate single speed convertions and will also work on belt drive convertions.

Dunno what size frame you ride, but Omnico had a XL like mine, raw carbon, in stock, maybe you can twist their arm for a good price

Got a pair of 6600 ultegra calibers from a fellow hubber to replace my tekras. I cannot overstate the difference. Its insane!

Not my latest purchase.......but stoked with my B-prezzie form my lovely wife (aka SWAMBO). Paralysis by analysis in the future........the numbers, it is all in the numbers :whistling:

Lance is a lekker oke. A bit misunderstood at times (he calls a spade a spade) but a great mech.
