I reckon some of these sponsors are involved and should be delt with accordingly. Like i stated earlier, Lance is but the tip of the iceberg. When/if he starts singing like a canary then only will it be the biggest **** storm in the history of sport

“People in cycling, especially the fans have been let down so many times so I understand why they question everything. Then again now that everything that's come out with Lance, it's all really sad what it's doing to the sport. Saying that it's good that the questions are being answered and it is in a way cleaning the slate so that a new generation can go forward and people can start trusting in the sport again. There's no way it's happening anymore.”

Opinions all over the "Lance Armstrong BANNED" thread.

Most have more questions than answers related to the agenda which is not yet clear. It appears more as if the UCI are looking to show solidarity with the USADA to divert the obvious ineptitude they have at controlling the sport than send a clear message about how they intend dealing with the doping challenges the sport faces.

totally ambivalent.

However, the cycling industry benefited from his lies and will continue to reap the benefits of those lies for years to come at the expense of the real cyclists

I am sure loads of others doped during their career as well...I think all previous dopers should maintain their titles, who wants a hand-me-down anyway...

Lance was a good cyclist, yes he doped, but in the end he still needed to pedal...

This should be a lesson, rather forget the past and focus on the future of cycling....
