As a noob would it be better to go 26 or 29er? Full sus or HT? 3x9, or 3x10, or 2x10, 1x9, or 1x10, or 1x1. Would a power balance bangle make me faster? Does it matter if i wear it on the left of the right wrist, or in my pocket? Is the force field enhanced by livestrong bands? What is potential interference of lycra or baggies? Should i shave my legs for speed or would the hair in fact decrease turbulance and make me faster?

26,HT,3x10,no,no,no,you'll hit your balls on the top tube if you wear baggies,no.

It's a pleasure.

My rear hub doesn't make that clickety rrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise

when freewheeling going downhill. I was wondering if

it would be wrong to put a playing card in my spokes to

simulate that noise? I do realise that it would then make a noise

the whole time but I'm trying to come up with an idea where

a remote lockout lever could could engage & disengace the clothes

peg holding the card in place.

thats a very dangerous statement to make. roadies pedal in straight lines with no obstacles... mmmm

Mike the reason why it is perceived that roadies have better is skills is that they make sure they never fall off so they don't dirty their white lycra ;)

Ummm...Fanx I think??

But seriaasly, my rear hub is "dood still"

& it's a set of Easton EA70 xct's. (so I'm not such a cheapskate)

Is it supposed to be so quiet?

I now there was mention of silent hubs on here a day or 2 back

but I was under the impression that all hubs made a noise??

Haha! Only joking. It is perceived that the more noise your freewheel hub makes, the more expensive it is.... I'll admit, it it irritates me when they make that much noise... Quiet is good. As long as it engages when you pedal and doesn't slip, it's fine!
