There are no boys in Jozi? *Joe checks his undercarriage*

We were refering to "simple".......found guys up here are even MORE complex than at the coast (must be the lack in oxygen ;) )

Yebo mnr....love it. Lydenburg is awesome, stonecutter is my haunt of choice there. 2 nice stillwaters + piece of the dorps for some stream trout.

Vaal is dead in Jul, I normally stock up on nymphs and dries, service tackle etc. But come Oct...it will be on. Eendekuil is where it's at. You?

Very nice - I am looking for places around Jozi. Heard the cradle has some good places? Nothing beats the fishing I reckon up Dullstroom onwards. I have not put a line in for a while, but last time I was up that side I fished at the municipal waters in Dullstroom. Pulled out a nice brown. But otherwise I fish at a place called Matekula (Lydenburg side) which has some good waters and streams. Another place in Dullstroom nicknamed "Jurassic Pond" is great - pulled some monsters from there

I'm Missing CM tonight.

Doing the club ride tomorrow AM (might be a shortened version if I can't juggle mini-me's schedule. Either visit or participate in the SASSC on Sat afternoon.

Sunday AM I'll be trying to flatten Northcliff hill, but I have this sneaky suspicion I'll be flattened :(

Ja cradle has some places but not exactly challenging. Stockies in 6x4 ponds taking everything that looks like pellets(they get fed epol and that is why they taste freakin horrible). Also no catch and release, you have to keep(brookwood).

Jurassic is awesome, probably holds the biggest trout in SA and they are not fed....that is proper stillwater fishing. In gauteng I wouldn't bother for trout, yellowfish rules man, have you been to the vaal for it? Stream / river fishing is really cool, ten times better than ponds. a 2kg yellow(avg size) feels like a 3kg trout and runs harder, faster and longer.

Car should be safe (even when parking in Braamfontein) - there is a parking garage. Normal Jhb precaution apply. Leave nothing visible in the car.

and... it is the women up here that make the guys cranky...
