Being interested in the Pyga Stage or OneTen29 (pending on finances available), I did some research.

One thing I am not impressed with are their warrantee.  2 years, and only if maintained and built by a Pyga authorised dealer.

From my experience the warranty service is superb. They went out of their way to fix my old bike at no cost when the second owner had an issue. Not sure you'd get that with anyone else, and the bike had also been serviced by non-authorised dealers during its 2 year stay with me.

So it is then basically just the lawyers putting some text on paper.  In the end the human beings involved decides to the help the customer to build a relationship.

Have to agree with Tatt....when the pyga crew was at the trailhead for a show day on the stage and stage max I pitched with my pascoe...Pat saw the one bolt on my rocker pivot was still an older hollow spec one and immediately tjooned his guy to get the newer solid one out of the van. Said to me take the stage max up the spruit and by the time you are back it will be replaced with the stronger bolt.

Not often you see the guy that designed your bike sitting on the ground and wrenching your bike even if he wasnt ask to.

Had similar experience at Bloemandal. One of the Pyga techs was there on a ride. I finished as he was packing up. Out of the blue he comes over and says that they've replaced the hollow bolt with a solid bolt, and that I can have it changed for free at a Pyga dealership.

Top service from guys who obviously live the brand.
