Will do dude. Wht station is in charge of the area?

I would go to Linden. I think they may actually help you and do a bit of work on this one.

Frightening does not really describe that. This is becoming ridiculous

Edit: you need to change the title of your topic cod the death of your saddle bag is not the crucial part of your post

No problem Dangle. I didnt think much of this untill I walked back to my bike. I ride the route regularly and have never felt worried about jackers. Its not even a secluded or hidden area, if they were out to take your bike there are plenty of better places according to me.

Wow, glad that rock didn't take you out.

I ride through that treeline most weekends and heaven help anyone I seeing putting something like that up!!

If I'm not mistaken Emmarentia falls under Parkview police station.

How do I do that? The title refers to the drama that could have been but I see how it could be misread and therefore ignored by someone who might benefit from reading the posts.

That is scary. I usually ride that section at speed a number of times per week.

Thank for sharing it. I hope it is a once off prank by some idiot by will keep my eyes peeled.

You see what happens when you ride alone?

Hahahahhaha! Dude a rock would be least of my worries if I arrive home at 7:30 again. Im going to hit it tomorow around 2:30 if your keen? I need to lose some pens and get fit.

So today was the first time that I've had some drama on a trail/path. I thought I'd share just so you guys/girls could avoid it or just be on the look out for these "traps". Coming out of the pine forest towards the treeline at Emmarentia I hit this gem of a rock suspended by a vine across the trail. Luckily I was on a 29er and could not blast through the single track otherwise it could have really hurt.

Don't know if this has happened before but just watch out.

P.s My saddle bag also broke, luckily it held till fratellis...

P.p.s. I'm no photo genius so just look for the rock I think I got it in frame.

Glad you not injured dude!!

One can always say what they will do but if I catch the mofo who pulls this stunt, he'll be picking up his teeth with broken fingers as well as p!ss!ng that rock out for weeks to come :cursing:
